You are correct
spks in p = lower than the rating of one
spks in s = greater than the rating of one
so 2 x 8ohms in p = 4ohms
and 2 x 8ohms in s =16ohms
Make sure that you do not connect too many speakers to the amp, and try to stay as close as possible to the amps specs.
