These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ http://electro-medical.blogspot.com/
Blinking codes details of many popular brand TVs are given. Surf the site with patience.
If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Check all the solder terminals at its video output card; Mr: Ron. This card can be located at the neck of the picture tube itself, will directly plugged on to it. Re-solder all the suspected solder terminals there, by applying a little more solder. The fault is technically called 'Single color predominant screen" If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. My guess is that if it was working fine before and now it's not, some interference may have occured so the remote isn't in sync with the devices (for example, someone walked between the remote and the TV so the step is out of sync. To fix the problem, use the help feature on your Harmony One.
On the remote, press the 1. Help button.
Answer the questions on the Harmony One's screen by selecting 2. Yes or No.
Based on your answers, the Harmony One re-sends the necessary commands to synchronize with your devices.
When you're done with this process, the Harmony One will be "in sync" with your devices.
If this doesn't work, I would reconnect your Harmony one to your PC and start from scratch programming it again. Good luck!
