Question about Mitsubishi WD-62528 62 in. LCD Television

1 Answer

TV does not come on

I have a Mitsubishi WD-62528 TV and have recently had an issue of the TV not coming on. When powering up the TV the lamp light starts flashing green and the status light flashes yellow. After about a minute the lamp light goes out but the status light remains flashing. I have already replaced the expensive lamp in it to no resolve. You guys have any ideas? A friend of mine says that you guys are the best...not to add any pressure or anything.

Check in your operating menus on the TV as there is most likely a lamp timer reset that needs to be performed.

Light purple spots on my screen

Unfortunately, this sounds like a problem with your TV's lamp. They are not cheap to fix. Search Ebay for a new lamp and get someone to install it for you. These Mitsubishis have a design flaw that make the lamps burn out quickly.
One thing that will PREVENT this problem is making sure that the TV's vents are clean.
