please try with another full charge battery and you can see is there any wrong with your mobile or battery,
if it is problem with mobile it can be hardware damage of the charging circuit.

I have VX11KV03 and I am having exactly the same issues; phone reseting to default display, sound, etc and trouble charging. Verizon tech support suggest a *211 call to update the software. Also, with the charging, even though this is still a hassel, unplug and replug in your phone after it says charge is complete. It will actually fill the charge the second time. Hopefully this wroks!
You just have to charge it fully but not for long as soon as it turns full battery then swithch ur phone off then take the battery out for a sec then put it back on then turn ur phone on then it will work for a longg timeee kk..
