Question about Epson Stylus RX680 Color All-in-One InkJet Photo Printer
Epson RX680 conundrum: One of the "light" colour cartridges is empty and shuts down the whole printer unless replaced. How can one print simply B&W?
You can set it to "grayscale" and supposedly print only in black/grey.
However, Epson printers use a small amount of every color even when printing black only or greyscale (black). Your printer will still not work with one color tank empty.
Here is how to set it:
Open the properties page for the RX680 and on the "Main" tab, click on [Advanced]. A Note may appear egarding incorrect settings.
Click [Continue]. Find the [ ] Grayscale box and check it, the [OK]
