Hello,

The screens on the inlet valve is clogged.
You just have to take off the hoses that connect to the back of the washer and then remove the screens at the inlet valve with needle nose plyers.

Fairly easy to do.

Good luck :)

Washing machine wont hold water on any setting

raise the main drain hose to the top of the back control head. there may be a problem with the main hose being to low and the water is gravity siphoning out of the washer.make sure the washer is off when you lift the hose up but do not remove it from the wall, you should here water drain out once it has stopped draining restart you machine and it should fill to the proper level and quit then go into your wash cycle

2 problems 1st is the washer continues to fill with water when i put in a new load second is it wont spin

If the water keeps filling without cutting off, you either have a faulty inlet solenoide or your pressure hose and or pressure switch needs checking.

To isolate the acutal problem, start the machine on a new cycle. Change the water level to minimum or low before you start. Let the machine fill up. Keep checking the water intake as it fill up. Once the water level goes over the half way mark in your tank, if the machine starts its wash action then your pressure hose and switch are o.k. as they have signalled to the timer that the water level selected, has been reached.

However if the machine keeps filling up even though the wash action has started, then you have a faulty inlet solenoide/valve. Turn off water at the tap and get the valve replaced.

Your outlet hose is too low at the back of the machine tie the hose at about the level as your inlet hose eg to where your inlet hoses are festened and then let the remainder of the hose go to your outlet as usual.that should work Kind Regards Stefan.

Kenmore top load washer will not fill on rinse cycle

Hi, It does sound like the contacts in the water level switch are sticking. This switch is activated by presure not vaccum. You can try and bow into the hose leading to the level switch and see if it has any restriction but, it is more likely the level switch is going bad.
Do you have any problem on the initial starting of you wash cycle?
Let me know if this helps at all or I can answer any more questions.

Thanks
Vic

Water comming from under washer front side

 Check the following:
Are the fill hoses tight?
Are the fill hose washers properly seated?
Is the drain hose clamp properly installed?

Is the sink or drain clogged? Sink and standpipe must be able to handle 17 gal. (64 L) of water per minute.
Is water deflecting off the tub ring or the load? Center the tub before starting the washer. The wash load should be balanced and not overloaded. The fill or spray rinses can deflect off the load. The washer must be level. The front feet should be properly installed and the nuts tightened. Reset the
rear leveling legs (if needed).

Kenmore washer overflows during rinse cycle.

SOME OF THESE MACHINES HAVE TWO PRESSURE SWITCHES IN THEM, ONE FOR THE MAIN WASH WATER LEVEL AND ONE FOR THE RINSE WATER LEVEL. CHECK FOR A PLUGGED AIR PRESSURE HOSE FIRST AND THEN CHECK THE PRESSURE SWITCHES.

Water is flowing into machine & it will not fill

If your machine wont fill, what IS happening? Is the pump coming on & not allowing the water to reach the correct level for the rinse cycle.
