I don't know how to hook up the dlink to the computer. Does it plug into the modem or directly into the computer?? I on my own...my son hooked it up before so I'm not sure how to do it. Can anyone guide me?

There's a cable that comes from the modem that plugs into the WAN port on the dlink router. Then you connect one of the other ports(1,2,3, or 4) into the network card on your computer. The connection and network cable look like a phone cord/connection just bigger.
