No sound from speakers, but yes from sub. Grounding issue?

Grounding issues are just simply earth connections that are either loose or are badly soldered. Sometimes with bad soldering a knock on the unit can make it play. It's just a question of going inside and looking - with a lens sometimes - at soldering joints - wire connections and screws fixing. Random cut outs certainly sound like bad soldering problems etc. The only other cause is heat sensitive devices, which shut down when too hot. But I wouldn't jump to that conclusion just yet.

I have a problem that sometimes jump a song a laser lens,i try to adjust, but sometimes jump same-maybe i must to change optical laser lens? Where i can find it?

  • Hello, those lenses are so so sensitive. just a hair off (literally) and it won't read. You did not list the brand or model of your CD player so where to get a spare lens for it I cannot say. I know the cost can be $40usd to $100used to replace. Sometimes a little cheaper. A junk radio always works for parts but often not available. If you want me to try and track one down for you I need the manufacture and model number.

When playing a cd on AK27 it keps jumping

Hello,

there are two things that might cause this,

  1. its either your speaker is too close to the system, whereby the bass come out from the speaker shakes the system and makes cd's to skip or jump
  2. or the lens (laser) of your player is weak. Also if the disc inserted into the player has a scratch, it will make the playing Cd jump/skip.
One of the above is the cause of the problem. So you can rectify the problem by observing from the above reasons.

Good luck.

Panasonic SA-PM19 5 disc player jumps around, starting at or near first track, plays a little, then jumps a good chunk, plays a little more etc, until it reaches (quickly) the end of the disc. It does this...

Could be a CD defect, but probably just dust inside. Try canned air, or connect IPOD after you convert CD's to MP3's or other player to AUX port as a connector as a work a around. Splicers available online if you already have a TV connected.

Battery went dead alpine cd stop working

Sometimes when you jump off a truck the CD player fuse will blow because it was trying to turn on each time you turned over the engine. Check all the fuses.

Cd stereo system adjustment for sensitivity

may seem obvious but the higher the base/volume the more vibration to interfere with the player.. if you can move the speakers farther away from the player or if you can't do that try to minimise vibration by maybe putting a piece of material under it

When I play cd's the music jumps

Make sure the speakers aren't too close to the CD player. The sound waves could be causing it to jiggle around like Elvis singing Blue Suede Shoes.

Do you have the speakers connected properly? If Yes check it with a 1,5 Volts batery to hear a click sound at your speakers... You will find the speaker cables behind the cd player.
