Question about Bose Wave music system Multi-CD Changer 3-Disc

Multi cd bose player will not eject 4th cd.

The cd unit was not functioning. I unplugged and when it rebooted, it ejected the main cd, and then #1,#2 in the 3 unit multi cd player, but not the third. Is there a way to fix this?

Re: Multi cd bose player will not eject 4th cd.

OK, this problem is everywhere with the bose cd changer addon. Many people can still play a cd with the top one fine, but cannot get cds to eject and/or read in 3 disc changer. My friends mom had one and after finally hearing back from bose, they said send it in with $100 to get fixed. If you have to send in and you value your cds, you may want to open it up and get them out. Use this at your own risk, there are no warranty stickers I saw and there will be exposed voltage, shock hazards, etc.; so if any of this worries you, stop here. By proceeding, you are admitting that you are capable of minor repairs and therefore I'm not responsible for any damage or harm caused. OK, here it is:
Unplug everything. On the bottom of the cd changer unit are 4 screws (silver ones recessed about 3/4" or so, use phillips screwdriver) to remove. Turn unit upright again and lift cover slowly straight up. In the front of the unit is a ribbon cable you will want to disconnect that goes to the cd 2-4 lights. Take note which side the dark blue tab is on and gently pull out by dark blue tab, rocking side to side if needed) You can then pull cover all the way off and set aside. Plug power into back of cd changer (careful not to touch anything inside) and see if the cds want to eject now. If not let the initializing process finish and repeat. This time see if you can gently help the cd out. The problem may also be the spindle not lowering, you can look for this movement during the last step of init. process. Work your way fom the top tray down removing the cds gently, remember we open it up because they were valuable to us, don't destroy them now, and don't ever use anything that could possibly scratch either top or bottom of the cd, use edges instead. Start to replace cover making sure to reattach ribbon cable back into socket the same way it came out. do not force too hard or you may crease and break ribbon. Gently replace cover and grab both top and bottom to turn over. Replace 4 phillips screws making sure not to overtighten or cross-thread. Now you may return to bose or just find an independent repair shop in your area, they are usually quicker, more polite, usually cheaper, and best of all, local!

Re: Multi cd bose player will not eject 4th cd.

I have unplugged and disconnected the two pieces of equipment and then set up again several times. Following the "picture" instructions sheet: plugged in the two connections between the units, and then plugged the electrical cord into the unit and then into the wall. Inserted the Bose disk provided, into the Music System unit (on top), it did it's thing and automatically ejected the cd. Still, the disk will not eject. the disks that are "stuck" --now in slots 2 and 4 (#3 actually popped out during one of my many attempts at hitting the "eject" button!--oh wow)--are possibly not allowing the system to setup properly-don't know. Have contacted (email)Bose and waiting for reply...I also will be eligible to retire at age 62 in two years, so which will happen first, reply or ...
Sign me dumbfounded by my own dumbness at having purchased another Bose system in one lifetime.

Someone put 2 cd in the top cd player how do we eject them

that is a problem because your system cannot read/receive commands thatr are blocked. Try ejecting by taping the player. If not, someone has to open the unit to get the cds out. Now this is an expensive unit so have someone knowlgeable to look at.

Hi, The cd disc is not in his place inside the multichanger, you must open the appliance and try to take out the cd without forcing, otherwise you wil brake the mechanical system,
after this the system will work well.

I cannot get multi CD changer to play CD's. Single CD in main unit is OK but no track info etc appears on screen. Also cannot eject cd's in myulti changer.

This seems to be a failure of the micro controller of the unit as it fails to identify as well as display the functions.
You will need to check he connecting cord , check the connectors and the inner voltage to the circuits.

Cd will not eject from cd disc error message and will not read the cd.. disc errors on cd2 and cd4,but will eject the cd.will not play cds. have unplug both units for an hour. no change...

My first guess would be that the loading belt is slipping. This will prevent the cd from loading completely and thus won't read. The belt costs around $2-$3. Care must be taken when opening up this unit.

Let me know if you need any additional info.

Bose multi cd changer wont work, reads "Disc error"

I think there may be a problem with the system (defective parts) - I, too, am having this issue. I am going to contact the BBB - maybe if enough of us complain we will get a recall. To file a complaint:

CD stuck in BOSE 3 disk stack player

I had the same problem and went to the Bose Tech Support site and found this solution. It allowed me to eject the stuck CD. The same problem happened again when I tried to enter another CD but after repeating the process below the CD ejected again and after that it worked fine.
Hope it works for you.
  • Try performing a reset with your Wave® music system upside down:
    1. Unplug the system, flip it upside down, place it on a firm, level surface, then plug it back in again

    2. If the CD ejects when you do this, the system may need to be serviced. Contact Bose® Technical Support or call 1-800-278-1281

Bose Wave Music Sys & 3 CD Changer

I have had a few of these come to my shop. The gears jump out of timing causing the cd lift to jam or become unalligned. The unit will probably have to be disassembled to get the CD out or have it serviced.
