Only thing I think you left out was to try another outlet and power strip. I don't think it matters, like mine they give two thumbs up and won't respond or contact Mitsubishi. I wonder if this is serious or a joke!

Whoops! that comment was to go under clarification. FixYa, where is the clarification button. You can't clarify any more? They just say it my computer.

You can tell I'm real hard up to answer questions. I figure, even if you have a great solution to a problem you better think twice about posting it, because not even a drawing a map will help you if they can't read maps.

You really don't get your pick of the quick fix solution, or the correct solution here.

This Tv has issues with its powersupply it would be hard to narrow down through email. This will need service to the power supply you might have a bad fuse or capcitor going on in there but to be sure of those facts please consult a tv reapir in your area.

I turned my t.v. on w/the remote. it came on then turned right off. at least i thought it did. there was no picture and the power light was blinking on and off with a green light. I pushed the power button...

Hello; This problem is likely caused by bad inverter board(s). I think there are 2 on the left side on this model. If either inverter doesn't start, the microcomputer on the main board see's this and generates one "lamp error" . Once it counts 5 lamp errors, the screen will not light and led(s) will flash. These boards are about $100 each and no way to know which is bad. It can also be caused by a bad LCD panel ( cost more than the TV sold for). You can verify a lamp error problem by doing a "forced start" . The set must be unplugged. then"I think" Hold the channel up and volume down buttons on the set or VISa Versa, and plug in without releasing these buttons for several seconds. If the set makes a buzzing noise , the power supply board is bad. If the set comes on and stays or goes off this is the inverter and/ or LCD panel problem. John

I have a Sharp flat panel model LC-20SH4U. The units power LED light is red. No effect (sound or picture) when remote or on/off switch is activated. The LED light slightly blinks.

Resetting the TV
If the buttons on the remote AND the buttons on the TV case do not work (channels do not change and you cannot open or navigate the menu), the TV has stopped responding. Reset the TV as follows:

NOTE:
Some TVs have a reset button. If available and accessible, try using the reset buttons before using the steps below. Using the reset buttons can save time.

clip_image001.jpg
1. Unplug the TV power cord from the power outlet.
2. Unplug any connected devices (DVD, Set-top boxes, etc...)
3. Press and hold the TV power button for five seconds.
4. Plug the TV power cord back into the power outlet and turn on the TV.
5. Open the on-screen menu to confirm that the TV is responding again.
6. Turn off the TV and reconnect the devices.
7. Turn on the TV.

Hope this may help;

62HM15 Toshiba DLP TV won't respond to remote or control panel

Blinking is a trouble code. Try unpluging for a longer time then hold power button in when pluging back in to try and reset.

Flashing green light

Did you try this yet

SYSTEM RESET
If the TV will not respond to either the remote control
or the front panel controls and/or will not power Off,
press the SYSTEM RESET button with a pointed item
like the end point of a paperclip. The TV will turn Off
and the TIMER light will flash quickly for about one
minute. When the TIMER light stops flashing, you may
turn on the TV again. Changes you made the last time
the TV was On before you used the SYSTEM RESET
button may be lost, however, the changes you made
previously are not lost.
POWER/TIMER Indicator
The green light is a multi-function indicator. This light
will flash rapidly for about one minute each time the TV
is plugged into the wall electrical outlet, when power
is restored after a power failure, or using the SYSTEM
RESET button. Do not attempt to turn on the TV again
during this period. Wait for the flashing to stop and
the light to turn off, before attempting to turn the TV
on. While the TV is powered on, the light illuminates
steadily. If the TV has been programmed to turn on
automatically using the Timer feature,

The timer light green blinking all the time

You most likely have some bad capacitors on the dm board, unfortunately the board is not available for this set, the complete chassis has to be sent in to Mitsubishi to be rebuilt.
