Logitech x-530 Speakers Issue :(

So the deal is, I have no connection problems or anything of the sort, when I run the test option all of the speakers work correctly, however when I go to play music or something say off youtube I only get the 2 front speakers and the subwoofer? Not too sure what the problem is any comments or help is very much appreciated! Thanks and Cheers.

If you have an analog connector for your speakers and your audiocard/onboard audio at the back of your computer supports 5.1 audio, connect the green to green, yellow to yellow, black to black. then on your audio tray in in windows, you must enable 5.1 sound.

I bought a Logitech X-530 5.1 Speakers today. I have connected correctly all the speakers, but there is no sound from rear speakers

click start control panel sounds and audio volume advanced speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there also
try swapping the speakers around if the problem still persists either the speaker is faulty or
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
or you might have to clean the dust from your computer dust causes static which causes your computer to overheat and all sorts of problems
be sure to wear an anti static earth strap before touching anything inside your computer try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the CPU central processing unit and your SOUND CARD dust causes static to build up in a computer causing it to overheat any many other problems:
hope this helps

Computer can't find the damn speakers

I didn't find the x-530 but I did find the install guide for the x-540 which I assume is similar to yours. Most speakers (including yours) do NOT require software to work. If anything it's the sound card on your PC that requires drivers to work but if that is working fine then your speakers should plug and play and work w/o any software.

Copy and paste the entire contents above into your address bar to go to installation guide. If you have it connected correctly and it is receiving power then perhaps your Sound Card is not working correctly.

Connecting Logitech X-530 speakers to TV flatscreen.

It really depends on what the Tv is capable of, and how you want to strategize the connection, but yes, it can be done.

According to the X-530 User Manual , the speaker system comes with an included video game adapter, for hookup with a console. if your LCD TV has stereo RCA output jacks, you could hook up your speakers to it in that fashion. If not, you may have to buy an adapter that converts whatever you have to RCA.

Another way you could attempt to connect it, is to buy a stereo RCA-to-3.5mm (g9) adapter, and connect to your computer's line in (if it's stereo). Your computer would be doing all the speaker sound positioning, and would have to be left on while you're watching TV, but that would work, as well.

Connecting dvd player to logitech x-530

Well, if you have a DVD-ROM, all you need is a video card with a s-video out to connect to your TV and then you could put your DVD player in your room and play your DVD's from your PC. Another way to do it (without having to buy anything) is to connect the sound of your DVD player to a stereo receiver and then plug the sub into the headphone jacks and the speakers to the sub.
