Could be your thermostat is defect, but even more likely the compressor is not working correct. Perhaps you even lost the cooling fluid. To be sure, please move everything as quick as you can to another fridge and ask a technician to have a look.

Our lg grs512gc fridge stinks, we think the drain hose could be clogged. Its not the contents and we have thoroughly cleaned the fridge. how to unplug?

use a syringe filled with clorine bleach to clear any drain holes.the smell will dissipate very quickly if the door is left open for 10 mins.

LG icebeam door cooling

Normally the fans get turned off when you open the door so it does not blow all the cold air out. The fans should only run when the doors are closed. Push in the door switch and see if the fan works then (of course it has to be in the middle of a cooling cycle or the fans still won't run).

LG fridge suddenly stopped cooling.

If the fan inside the freezer is running and the compressor behind the fridge is running and is hot to touch, you have a gas problem or the compressor is inefficient. This can only be confirmed by connecting refrigeration gauges to the gas system and should only be performed by a fridge tech.
