E 54

The E5X code refer to malfunction in the fusing unit.E54 the fusing lamp stay on for longer white the main motor is off.The possible cause is dirty thermistor or thermalfuse,main board or ac drive power supply board is defective.When E% service call conditins occur,for safety reason they can`t be cleared by turning the main switch off/on.You must be performed to clear the service call conditions:
1.After repair the machine turn on the main switch.
2.Enter in the SP mode and press 97.
3.Turn the main switch off amd on.
