clean first all put some basic silicon grease on the parts , most cause is when oil lubricated models are used dry without oil and not abandon timely the compressor.
Buy a service kit rings priority on the cover top and some rings like an exhaust seal in the top are very important parts also the buffer on the bottom that must closed the air on the quill if hold the trigger pulled so the quill must standing down, it shoult not be leaking air if release the trigger the same and the quill must be fully come free so there is no point of the quill to see if open the nail supply .

DOESN'T FEED,IT MIGHT MISS SHOOT A TIME OR TWO THEN GET A NAIL THEN NOT FEED.I'M SHOOTING A 1.5"TECO NAIL. ANOTHER GUN DOESN'T SHOOT EVERY TIME LIKE THE DEPRESSOR ISN'T LETTING THE...

Usually miss feed happens when the driver does not return to top position not allowing the nails to feed into position. Easy to check, point nose of nailer up then down again to see if the driver is loose in the cylinder. If loose, the driver will be in the down position when the side door is opened. If driver is down, replace driver oring. If driver oring is good, look for spring tension on feeder and check feeder spring on the door side. If piston oring good and feeders have good spring tension, suspect lower bumper cracked(remove head and piston to check bumper).
On gun with depressor (safty foot) not actuating trigger, look for worn trigger (trigger inner lever could be worn) or loose or worn firing pin in the trigger valve above the trigger(valve # tva6). Replace as needed. To check for proper gun action, remove the nails, remove the 3mm roll pin holding trigger and dry fire the gun by depressing the tigger pin. Good luck

Air leaks around trigger when it is squeezed

If you do not have a parts list for your gun, look that the page below for reference:

http://www.toolpartsdirect.com/cgi-bin/schematic.cgi/hitachi/nr83a2

Reference #66 is the trigger plunger and #67 is the oring seal.

Leak when you press trigger is most likely due to bad or missing oring on the trigger plunger (white plastic pin under trigger). Remove the roll pin (3mm) holding the trigger and remove the plunger. Replace the oring as needed. If you would like to use generic part. Lowes oring #60 sold in the plumbing department (small package of 10 orings about $2) works fine. Good luck

Only shoots out one nail for every 4 or 5 trigger pulls

The gun will miss fire if the driver does not return to top position allowing nails to move into position. Could be bent driver, faulty trigger, cracked lower bumper or check valve not in place. Easy to check if trigger. Remove air supply, and remove the pin holding the trigger. Fire the nailer by depressing the firing pin with your finger. If the gun works ok, single fire trigger is faulty or safety foot is out of adjustment. If still miss fire, remove head and pull out cylinder and piston. Check for bent driver, cracked lower bumper or black band (check valve) is out of place on outer part of cylinder covering a row of holes.

I just put my warrior paintball trigger into my ion, hooked up the air and everything and it doesnt shoot

You may need to adjust the trigger with the allen screws. One screw comes up under the
trigger and the other is straigh in line (you can see that one). Also, make sure you got the grips on right and didnt pinch or pull a wire loose( I did!). Will it fire with the eyes off (press the on/off once after power up to get to eyes off mode)? You should be able to see the magnetic part of the trigger as it moves toward the switch point inside the grip-frame. Is it traveling far enough into the frame to hit the switch area?

Paslode framer when you depress trigger there no resistance and it does not fire

Paslode framer has a lever inside of trigger that may be bent or missing. Easy to check. Remove air line and nails. Remove trigger by pulling pin. Check under trigger for missing parts. Test gun by connecting to air and place nose of gun against wood or hard rubber and then depress firing pin. If gun fires then problem is with lever under trigger or safety mechanism which is in two parts. Check safety for bent or broken piece, usually upper part will be missing lip that actually pushes on the lever. If however gun does not fire when firing pin is depressed, time for replacing orings in gun. Parts are available at www.toolpartsdirect.com . Good luck with your repair and post again if you have other questions.

The trigger does not work

Check tiny allen head grub screw has not loosened on bottom trigger button and is catching on housing, otherwise one of the o-rings is missing off trigger plunger or piston. Carefull of spring behind trigger button when loosening allen grub screw. You will find the plunger behind trigger button.
