Question about Dell Dimension 2350 PC Desktop
Your heatsink clip broke off, so now the heat can't be effectively removed from the cpu. This will cause the cpu to "thermtrip", meaning the computer will cut itself off automatically to prevent damage to the cpu due to overheating. Unfortunately, you may have to replace the motherboard because of that broken part. I suggest Ebay...

It's probably the cpu overheating because of the broken clip. You'll need to buy a new heatsink for the cpu (get some thermal paste at the same time). Take the old one off, clean the compound off the top of the cpu. Put a pea-size blob of thermal paste on the cpu and attach the new heatsink.
