    Hi Bill,

I looked in the registry and the 'no modify accounts' key is already set to '0'

Are you able to give me any further advice?

I was advised to reinstall 'Outlook Express 6' by my Internet Provider, but Microsoft do not provide support anymore, and I do not have Outlook on disc as it was pre-installed (version 5, I think - it has since been updated to 6)

In the registry under Outlook Express\5.0\RequiredSettings\Mail\Accounts checked - it has a string of eight zeros

    Is that relevant?

    Thanks,

    Arthur

I have found the solution to the no 'accounts' in the tools drop down box.

In my case simply deleting the 'No Modify Accts' line in the registry which already had the correct value '0', brought the accounts entry back into the tools drop down box.

The above can be found under:-

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Outlook Express

Thanks for your input but the solution I found was to simply delete the 'No Modify Accts' line in the registry which already had the correct value of '0'.

Thanks for your input. I dont know whether you got my previous comment, but the value in the registry was already '0'. I have since found that by deleting the 'No Modify Accts' line in the registry and rebooting has brought 'accounts' back into the Tools drop down box.

Thanks for your comments. I have resolved the problem by deleting the 'No Modify Accts' entry in the registry. No need for me to uninstall anything!

    Thanks

Please uninstall Officer software and reinstall it.

That is the easiest way. You will not loose any document or any programme.

Good luck.

Arthur,This is surprising. Accounts is an essential option in OutLook EXpress but these surprises have to be dealt with. Go to Control Panel->Add/Remove progs The window that opens will have two panes. Inthe left pane there is an option Add/Remove Windows Components. When you select this a dialogue box will open which will have OutLook Exp as one of the options. Remove the tick there and close the box. Windows will Remove the (defective) Exp. Reboot. Do the same thing and this time select this option and put a tick in the EXP box. Close and Windows will reinstall Exp again. Happy emailing.

In the "No modify accounts" key in the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Outlook Express

(type "regedit" in the in the run prompt in the start menu).

Make sure this is set to "0." If it is set to 1, this prevents you from editing accounts.

Hope this helps,
Bill

How do I get reinstated in my Google account?

Which one are you speaking of G-Mail, or Google Web Tools? Or some other type of Google-related account? Generally they're all tied together.

This depends entirely on how you got "UN-instated" on your account. If it was for a TOS (Terms of Service) violation, you might as well give up on that and create a new one. Google is not well-known for reinstating TOS-violation-disabled accounts, and - for that matter - neither are most others.

IF HOWEVER - you just mean you've lost your password, username, etc and can't get in that way such as trying so many times you got locked out, then the link below may be of help, it is Google's Account Reinstatement page. Note the links in the page and try them.

Please update your progress here, or clarify if there is anything else you can think of we should know to help, and best of luck!

How can I get the gmail account reinstated?

Why not just create a new account for the purpose you need specifically. You can have as many accounts (email addresses) as you wish. With Yahoo I have some two hundred email addresses. Whenever I have a transaction with a new entity (person or business) I create am email address that has the name of that entity in it.

I need to recover all my gmail account

Gmail accounts are permanently attached to the Google account they were originally created with.

Therefore, if you delete your Gmail account, you can always reinstate it at a later time and keep the same Gmail ID.

If it's been a few weeks or less since you deleted your Gmail account, you may be able to recover your previous contacts and messages; however, after a few weeks, you'll likely only be able to reinstate your Gmail ID.

Sign in to the Google account previously associated with the Gmail address.
Click on your name in the upper right corner of the Google page and click on "Account Settings." Scroll down to the "Try Something New" section and click on "Gmail."

Type your name and create a password. Your Gmail ID is prepopulated in the field it cannot be changed.

Choose a security question and enter your birthday. Fill out the CAPTCHA word code.

Click on "I accept.
Create my account" to reinstate your Gmail address.

Microsoft outlook menu missing

The "Out of Office Assistant" is a Microsoft Outlook feature that allows users to send automatic replies to people who send emails to them when they are out of the office or otherwise unavailable.
This feature is only available to Outlook users with Microsoft Exchange Server email accounts. Most personal email accounts through home Internet service providers do not support this feature.
If your Out of Office Assistant is missing from your "Tools Menu," it may be disabled, turned off or not installed.

Confirm that the Out of Office Assistant is installed and turned on.
To access the "Out of Office Assistant" menu command, you must be in mail view. It is not accessible from "Calendar," "Tasks," "Notes" or "Journals."
From your Inbox, click "Tools," "Options," the "Other" tab and select "Advanced Options."
Click "Add-in Manager" and select the "Exchange Extensions Commands" check box.
Try to access your "Out of Office Assistant."
If the Exchange Extensions Commands" check box is not available in the "Add-in Manager," proceed to Next Step .
Check that the "Exchange Extensions Commands" are enabled. Click "Help," then "About Microsoft Office Outlook" and select "Disabled Items."
If "Exchange Extensions Commands" is set to "Disabled," select it and click "Enable."
Attempt to use the "Out of Office Assistant" command. If it's still not available, proceed to Next Step .

Install "outex.ecf." From your "Tools" menu, click "Options" and select "Add-in Manager."
Then click "Install" and select "outex.ecf."
Click "Open."

Try to use the "Out of Office Assistant."
If you are still unable to use the "Out of Office Assistant," contact your system administrator.

My account has been suspended and i want to reinstate it.

the only way is to cantact ebay support:

You should have received an email explaining the problem and what needs to happen before your account can be reinstated. If you can't find it, click My eBay at the top of the page. You'll find a copy of the email after clicking the Messages tab.

There are two reasons why an account may be suspended:

Non-payment of eBay fees: Account balances of $1 or more must be paid in full each month. We'll automatically reinstate your account once your balance is paid. You can pay by credit or debit card, by check, or through your PayPal account.

Violation of our rules and policies: For policy violations, you need to check the email we sent you. It will explain what the problem was and what needs to happen before the account can be reinstated. You can learn about our policies.

My facebook account disabled, dangerous because I wore my child's account for transactions via facebook, please to the management team named CheChei facebook account with your email address:...

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!

Facebook have quite the draconian usage policy and at any point in time you might find yourself the proud owner of a disabled Facebook account. Do not despair for there are ways to reactivate your account without having to re-create a different one.

Just open the following link, Give all the related information which is required and it can help you to enabled your account.
If you want to activate directly your account then All you have to do is send an email to disabled@facebook.com inquiring about the reason that they disabled your account for (usually it's a hater reporting your profile to be in violation of the EULA of Facebook) and explain your willingness to remove the violating content and if it was just a "clerical error" to reactivate your account. After sending mail, your account will be enabled in less than 3 hours

For Further assistance, I am here to help.
Thanks and Keep Visiting FixYa
