Question about Avaya Partner ACS 308EC (108463001) Expansion Module

Partner phone system

I just replaced my Partner ACS 308 processor with a R6.0. Whenever a call comes in, the message "Your call is being transferred to the receptionist" comes on immediately. I've gone through all the programming features and cannot find the one that prevents this from happening. Any solutions?

    Thank you very much MFurrer. I also found that I had to remove the Voice Mail module and then reinsert it. I found a sentence in the user's manual that said the Voice Mail module had to be installed last.

You need to reprogram the voicemail group.
#505, group 7 and enter the extensions where your voicemail is.

Im assuming you mean an ACS 308 processor not the 308ec expansion module. From a display phone at either extension 10 or 11 press feature 00 - left intercom button twice - #98925327

What to do when the "replace system battery" message displays on a Partner ACS...

The Partner ACS system uses 2 AAA batteries to retain programming from 45 to180 days, in the event of a power outage. When these batteries fail, a system warning (replace sys bat w/ power on) will display on the screen of extensions 10 and 11. Replacing the system batteries doesn't require a service technician and is fairly simple to do providing you know the proper steps.
With new batteries in hand, go to the phone system cabinet and find the system processor. The system processor will be marked on the top third of the card with a label marked "Partner ACS processor".
On the bottom of the processor module,below the extension jacks, there is a battery compartment. With the power on, Push in slightly on the battery compartment and slide the black locking latch up to cover the"+" icon. Remove the battery assembly by pulling the tab at the bottom of the compartment cover.Place the batteries into the metal battery clips fully. Make sure the polarity of the batteries is correct by looking inside the metal battery clips for the "+" and "-" icons cut into the metal of the battery clip. With the locking latch in the unlocked (up) position slide the battery assembly back into the processor card far enough that the edges of the assembly slip behind the plastic housing of the processor card.Slide the locking latch down to secure the battery compartment. The message on your screen will disappear if the batteries are inserted correctly.

I have a partner mail VS R4.0 system. I am trying to have calls that come to my extension auto forward to an outside line like my cell phone.

What releas is the processor? You need an ACS, Release 6 or newer.

From any display phone, press Feature 59. That will tell you the release.

My customer has a Partner Mail VS 4.0. At times

Never heard that one before, you might try # 306 and see if the return extension is itsself.

Partner ACS turning on and off on it's own

One of the cards is bad in the unit. Assuming you have a 308 processor and 308 ec card and two cards in the system The 308 ec card has a bad or power supply in the card

When this happens look at the cards lights.

This is nothing you can fix yourself without a Avaya technician.

The partner voice messaging system would be a card that looks like the processor card , It should also have a green sticker on the face of it identifing it as such.

Lucent Partner 18D - Caller ID not working

The caller id information is sent from your local telco provider after the first ring and might not be able to be extended to the individual sets, try backing off the ring to answer on your voice mail from 2 to 3 rings to see if the information is then passed on. The Voice Messaging System message is being sent from the system showing who transfered the call to you. You should also notice that the ring pattern when that message is displayed is a standard ring followed by a beep meaning a transfer is taking place.

Installed ACS R1 in 5 slot carrier with 4 308EC R3 modules. Processor works but non of the 308EC cards work and no lights on modules.

Try powering off, reseat the processor, and both cards. Power on.

If that doesnt work, remove the last 308 card and power up. if still not work, power off and swap the 2 3-8 cards.
