Samsung r450 No power without charger

My phone will say charging and when I take it off the charger the phone shuts off. When a charged battery is put in the phone it powers up. When the battery dies the phone/charger will not charge that battery either. Phone comes on while charger is plugged in and battery is out.

SOURCE: my enV will not charge!

Hey i think i just figured out the problem to all the port charging issues for the envy and envy 2 phones with verizon. its not the phones, its the charger cord! the part that goes into the phone. it gets pulled out over time from pulling the cord out of the phone all the time. get a pair of pliers. grab the end and push the metal end of the cord against somthing hard, push it back in so it is at the appropriate depth. this should make it charge properly again!

SOURCE: samsung omnia problem trying to charge battery

It looks like battery is damaged... When plugged in to charger phone shouldn't power on. Try put it on charger when on and see if charging icon appear. (top right corner-battery status icon should change -insted of battery to charging.) Battery is fully charged after cca 4 hours, 80% after 2 hours.

SOURCE: Samsung charging problem

If very well could be the charging port. Have you tried a different charger?

If it is the charger port, You have 3 options.

1. get it repaired, warrant if possible
2. Get a new one
3.Get an external battery charger and charge battery separate from phone.Another battery and charger will set you back about 10 dollars on ebay2.gif.

Samsung Galaxy S model SPH-D700 won't turn on, how can I fix this?

To reset the phone, it should be without power at all. So removing the battery, when the charger is connected, will not reset the phone. Then when the battery is dead, it could show up as if it is charged, because the voltage on the voltage sensor can become high enough, to indicate the battery is charged.
First, disconnect the charger, and remove the battery. Wait a few seconds and reinsert the battery. Try switching the phone on. If nothing happens, the most likely thing is you have a bad battery.
I hope there is no other issue.
Success.

Samsung 3262 charging paused for battery

Since you are experiencing difficulty in your charger since your Samsung 3262 won't charge although it is showing it is charging battery then we will be solving this matter so to fix battery and charger problem. • Performing a power reset. •Hold the power button for 30 seconds without it being plugged in. •Then place your Tab on a home charger for a couple minutes. •After a couple minutes, press the power button again for 30 seconds with the charger plugged in. This is usually a charger issue But in a small amount of cases it can be the battery. If recently purchased you can just return it and get a new phone.

I just got this samsung r450 and i was talking to my mother and the phone turned off and it won't turn back on.....i tried to charge it but it won't get past the loading screen...i never dropped it in...

Hello,

I believe the battery is very very flat such that it cannot power the phone. The charger too would not be able to power up the battery cells.

You would be needing a desktop charger in order to wake the battery, then thereafter, you can continue the charge with your charger.

The battery is the one causing the problem and it shouldn't be the phone. Try to wake up the battery and the phone would power up again.

Take care.

My phone will not hold a charge at all. I've taken the battery out, let it set, put it back in for a few minutes and still no charge. The longest the phone lasts without dying is 10 minutes

Hello

Remove the battery and test it with a similar phone to ee if it will hold charges, if it does, it means the battery is good, but if otherwise change the battery.

Next place to look at is the charging port, check with a similar battery and charger to see if it will charge, if it doesnt, change the charging port.

Also test your charger with another similar phone to see if it will charge, if it does, it means the charger is good.

Best regards.

Battery works on another chocolate, but when inserted into this chocolate, it says it has no charge and powers down....is there something that can be done for the phone to recognize battery?

i am having a somewhat similar problem with my samsung gleam. so far all i did was pull out the "bad" battery and put a battery into that phone that i know was charged. when i did that, the phone worked. then i put the "bad battery" into my phone and turned it on. it immediately shut off. i plug in my car charger and nothing, no indication it was charging or anything. i take it home and plug in my wall charger to it and after half hour, charges fine. try swapping batteries and then charging in a phone you know will charge it, that is what i am getting at here.

My samsung sch-r450 just keeps vibrating when i try to charge it.

When you plug your usbt cable into your phone and it turns off, leave it off for about 10 seconds witthout the usb pluged into it then power it back on. It should stop vibrating but will need to be charged up with your house charger.
