this error message when your sound device is disabled. Try clicking on System in control panel then Device Manager then Sound and Game Controllers for the sound device installed on your computer. Click on the device you have used and then Enable Device.

There are two pretty simple solutions. 1. Close all other open programs before you try to play your game. You don't have enough virtual memory (RAM) to run multiple programs at once. 2. If you receive the same message when only running your game, then you just don't have enough RAM to handle the game. You need to upgrade your ram - verify which type you need and go buy it! It's very easy to install, especially in desktops. To avoid this in the future, be sure to read the necessary system specs needed to run the game, and be sure you meet or exceed the minimum requirements before purchasing the game.
This issue occurs if the video card installed in the Computer doesn't meet the video requirements to play the game. You can visit the Computer's manufacturer website to check for any updated driver for the video card installed in the Computer.
Please check the back of the packaging for your game and see that your computer meets minimal requirements also older games will not work due to age. If this game predates 2000 you may not be able to play it with out tweaking windows.
When you had the game before, were you running a different version of Windows than you are using now? Are you using software now you didnt have before? Has the game ever worked properly? Head to the game company's website and see if there is a patch or an update for the game. It seems like a hardware to software issue. Reinstall the game, restart the computer (even if youre not told to do so), then look for a patch. If there is one, follow the instructions to install it, and restart after installing the patch. DO NOT TRY TO RUN THE GAME until all of this is done first.
There might be a problem with your graphic card or the game you are playing that your graphic card can not support. or you might have to uninstall the game you are trying to play and install the game again.. most likely it will be the graphic card not supporting the game.
