Re: MFC-210C ALL IN ONE
Did you manipulate the eeprom settings by pressingsome buttons within the maintanance mode? If not you have a defective main circuit board. This needs replacement by a new one (which costs more then a new mfc 240/260!).
If yes, you have deleted the printhead info. This could only be fixed by service personell only by help of special brother software.

Check for foreign
objects, such as a clip or ripped paper, inside the machine. Open the scanner cover by pulling up on the lower right corner of the
cover. Look inside the machine and remove any foreign objects. If you see
jammed paper or another item inside this area, gently pull it out and then
close the scanner cover securely.
If the error
continues to appear, the machine may have a mechanical problem. If the error message continues to appear, the machine will need to be
unplug machine from power outlet. take all carts out. wait 5 min. plug machine to power. wait until machine demands carts. reinsert carts and make sure they are secured. answer display when asked if you have changed.
If you still have the error message use a original brother cart.
Try this: Unplug machine from power. Wait 5 min. Open scanner cover and take the carts out of the holder. Close cover. Plug machine to power. Machine will cycle and demands the carts. Use all NEW carts: Insert carts as demanded and answer question shown on display.
Always print until machine STOPPS printing because of EMPTY cart. Change cart then and machine will print the rest of job! Plz, never change carts when it says NEAR EMPTY: This will cause a lot of trouble ;-)
I would try re-running the firmware installation if you haven't.
Last time I had a firmware problem like this I left the machine unplugged for a hour or two came back and re-tried it and the machine took the upgrade fine the second time.
