Hello,
You should give the whole error message.
I created a bogus program and archived it.
Then I tried to execute it. I got the messages: ERR Archived 1:Quit 2:Goto. When I tried to edit it I got ERR:Archived 1:Quit.

Your program is archived. You must unarchive it.

To Unarchive. Press [2nd] [MEM][2:Mem Mgmt/Del] [ENTER]
Scroll down to [7:Pgrm]. Archived programs will have a star at the left. Highlight the program you want to unarchive and press [ENTER]. The asterisk disappears. Press [2nd][QUIT]. Your program is ready to run or to be edited.

Hope it helps.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Can the face plate be changed on this calculator?

No. The faceplate can be changed on the TI-84Plus Silver Edition, but not the TI-84Plus. You can customize the front of the calculator with GraphiTI, available at

My Ti-84 plus gives me an answer of "4E-4" when I multiply .02 times itself. How can I get it to show me the decimal answer instead of the E

Unfortunately, you can't. From the manual:

If [...] the answer cannot display in 10 digits (or the absolute value is less than 0.001), the TI-84Plus expresses the answer in scientifc notation.

My TI 84plus silver calculator won't turn on

TI calculators have an annoying habit of dimming the screen when the batteries are changed so that it appears as if the calculator isn't turning on. Turn the calculator on (or at least press the ON key). Press and release the 2ND key. Press and hold the Up-arrow key for a few seconds and see whether the screen becomes legible.

If that doesn't work, post a comment here and we'll go from there.

How do you figure out percent on the TI-84Plus Program. Calculatr

To figure out the percent, you simply divide your number by 100. Or, multiply your number by .xx (xx being whatever percent you want to find).
For example, if I want to know what 20% of 50 is, I would enter this:
.20 x 50 =
The answer is 10. So, 10 is 20% of 50.
As for the divide button, look for a "/".
If this helps, please take the time to give this response a positive rating. Thanks!

Error when opening a program

The best solution is to recover your pc with the cd that came with it. if you don't have the recovery cd let me know. write down the mdel of your pc. example=emachine t2080, hp 55555......etc Just post it to this forum and send the copy to email notify me that you are ready. I will then help you. I can easily help you if your computer is working with internet, but since there is no internet, you have to do a system recovery.
