What you need to try to do is reinstall the blackberry OS (operating system) on your device.

Assuming you have AT&T

First install Blackberry desktop manager it should be in the CD that came with the phone.

If you can't find it download it https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22&dl=5E695511C1F9656B8E3E63DAB060F469

Then download the OS software for your phone https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=577BCC914F9E55D5E4E4F82F9F00E7D4
and Install it.

Connect your phone to your computer and start Desktop manager

Click on application loader, on update software click start, click ok on USB pin selection.

when you get to the device backup and restore options, click settings and make sure backup options box is unchecked and device data boxes are both checked, click ok, click next, skip the email signup stuffs, and finish.

After the software is installed the phone should boot back up.

507 means your phone thinks it has no operating system on it.
you need install Desktop Manager. then connect bb. open application loader from DM -> install OS to your phone
PS:must remove vendor.xml in Program files on computer. Dwonload the DM from this link: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/ Or go to your provider's website and download it from there. And read this link: http://crackberry.com/blackberry-101-lecture-12-how-reload-operating-system-nuked-blackberry Click on this link or copy and paste the complete link into your browser.

I have a 507 error code

507 means no operating system found. You will need to reload the OS.  Device may require a clean wipe and re-install of the OS.

The 507 error means that the operating system is no longer on the device. Any data on the device is gone, too. You won't be able to retrieve it unless you have a backup.

You will need to reload the operating system on to the device. You will need the Desktop Manager program, along with the BlackBerry handheld device software.

You can find the Desktop Manager program here:http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/de...

You can find the lastest BlackBerry handheld device software from your carrier's site. A list of them is here: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/dow...

And you can follow these instructions for upgrading your operating system:
http://crackberry.com/blackberry-101-how...

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. Otherwise, please rate this. Thanks, Joe

jvm 507 means the operating system on your blackberry needs to be reloaded. there are several resources to walk you through the process of reloading. It involves using the Desktop Manager Software as well as the Client software for your specific Blackberry device. Could even be a newer version of client software. Just reload the software and it should work just fine.

Error code 507

Basically this means that there is an error with your BB operating system or software, you will need to reload you app's though apploader through your desktop manager.

Pulling the battery out while the device is on is worth a try before you reload the os, this is called a hard reset and fixes 80% of BB issues.
