Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I normally recharge the battery of my MP3 player by connecting it to an USB port/plug directly connected to 220V and it never had any problem. Now i am in the united states states and connected the plug...

  • You will have to get a step up transformer. The voltage and cycles per minute is not sufficient to power your MP3 player from across the pond. Here is one example of what you need. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2104179 You can get one at a local electronics store in your area. What the step up transformer will do is increase the voltage and cycle per minutes to sufficiently power your MP3 player. With out that nothing can be used from across the pond over hear period.

Bought a new MP3 player. ECLIPSE is the brand from Kmart. and it says device isn't installed properly. It didn't come with a disc or anything? What do I do?

Connect the mp3 player to a computer. So, you'll need a download cable if you don't already have one. These cables are easily available at any retail store, and most department store clerks know exactly which cable you need. Next, I would go to eclipsemp3.com on the internet to learn a little information about your mp3 player. Then go to eclipsemp3manual.com to learn how to download software, songs, or what ever you want to put on the mp3 player. Simply follow the instruction for device set-up, once you get connected to the computer, and your mp3 will become installed properly. Have fun with your new mp3 player!!!

Ipod wont work

If it is under warranty still retrieve the serial number from the back of the iPod and call Apple to setup an appointment at your nearest Apple store to save you time. They only take appointments now that I know of.
If by resetting you mean by:
Holding down menu & play/pause?
If that doesn't work plug it into the computer, make sure you have iTunes installed and then try restoring it. And if THAT doesn't work, make sure you have the lastest iTunes, and firmware. Sometimes computers are a little iffy, if the connection noise is present and disconnected it could be the USB port. Sometimes on my phone/mp3 players it'll do that and they only liked to be plugged back into the same original port the USB driver was installed on. So if you plugged it through the front when it was working try that.

Computer will not respond when usb is connected

Your computer should be able to fix the Coby's firmware even though you are having trouble connecting in the usual way. Please try these steps to fix your Coby MP-610 MP3 Player.

NOT'''' RESPONDING

Connect your mp3 player to the computer.
Open the Philips Device Manager
Run the Repair function.
If the Device Manager does not recognize the player, connect the player to the computer (while the player is in the OFF position) while holding in the volume + button. Continue holding the vol + button for 5-15 seconds until a window pops up on the computer screen that says Found New Hardware Wizard. Follow the directions and it will lead you to do a Repair in the Philips Device Manager.

If this strategy doesn't work, your player is screwed. Call Philips and find out how to get an in-warranty replacement (or take it back to the store).

Tsonic 610 not switching on, not responding to USB-charging

Make sure the hold switch is not engaged
Here is the link to Transcend's page with info on the Tsonic:
http://www.transcendusa.com/Support/DLCenter/index.asp

if that fails,
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

If the computer recognizes the player, then -
Try this - connect your mp3 player to computer --> double-click on My Computer --> double-click on the icon of the mp3 player --> double-click on the music folder --> drag and drop the music files to a folder/desktop of your own choosing
