The numpad just wont work.

The most common fix for this issue is actually quite simple. In the upper left hand corner of the numpad will be a button labeled "num lock." Just press that and your numpad should work!

Hell! I bought Hp probooks 4520 recently in early week it was runnig good but after a week its numpad is not working I don't know what happened to it. I tried so many thing but still not working anyone...

Hi

There is a key - Like Caps Lock - that activates the numpad, called Num Lock, and indicates that activation with light.

If not activated, the numpad will act as arrow keys.

Please, Tell us your results.
Good Luck

KEY PAD IS NOT WORKIG

you can try doing this: hold the "Fn" key and then press the different-color-numpad-enabling key (generally one of the function keys). now be warned that most of the laptops use a compact keyboard integrated with the numpad, so if you activate this function, some of your character keys will be turned into numpad-disposition keys. mostly the keys "u", "j" and "m" are changed repesctively into "4", "1" and "0".

Keyboard malfunction

Most laptop keyboards use some letters of the right hand as numpad.
You must see some numbers in blue color over that letters.
This is why those letters write numbers when you turn on the Numpad.

My buttons wont work

i think the moisture has entered into the keypad sensor where it must have shorted the leads on the keypad board...
you should remove the keypad layer and make it dry thoroughly..
i would advise to take it to the service center for curing the keypad asap....if the phone is under warranty you can take it to the customer care
