Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Slim (PSP-2000) Console

When I play on my psp some of the buttons won't work. Some of them when you press them it makes the screen turn blank. (It only does that with one game.)

Look like you going ot need to replace the logic board under the keypad around 450 bucks for the parts if you can do it yourself you might save you self some trouble of paying a professional to do it. these are worth fixing as they are awesome units I regret having to sale mine :(

Hi. Since you're in UMD Autoload mode, you need to configure that in the PSP Settings. To do this, turn off your PSP and remove your UMD. Now, turn it back on and it won't autoload your UMD since it wasn't there anymore.
Now, go to "Settings" and scroll down to "System Settings" and press X. Scroll down again the selection until you see "UMD Auto-Start" and press X. At the right side will appear the options "ON" and "OFF". Select "OFF" and press O button several times to go back to main screen.
Insert your UMD. Now, try playing games from Memory Stick. You may have to turn off your PSP and turn it on again to finally play homebrew...
I hope this helps...

Psp blank

you got a brick psp.

If your updating a psp, you should make sure that it will be able to finish it, if you stop while its still updating, you will have a brick unit.

if you psp is not using custom firmware (modified to play hack games) send it to sony as they can unbrick it.

if any of your friend has a pandora, they can actually have you fix it both CFW and original psp.

Hope that helps.
