At low volume it is fine after you get to about 20 on the volume it starts to crack, pop and distort very bad what is making this happen

Your speakers may say 350 watts but that is the peak wattage at which they blow up and not a wattage they can sound distortion free at. Look for the RMS wattage which is probably around 40 watts. If you look at the specs on your receiver you will see it will put out a maximum of about 50 watts but the distortion on the receiver is above 1 percent at anything over 22 watts. That means they are going to start distorting at around half volume. The other thing you might check for is a impedance mismatch between the speakers and the receiver. Is the receiver set up for an impedence output of 8 ohms but your speakers are 4 ohms impedance.

Marshall MB4410, with low volume gives no real volume,

Guitar amps have preamp sections (think unpowered audio mixer) and power amp sections (Crown rack-mount amp). An excellent way to isolate audio problems if amp is still producing audio is to check the preamp out (line out). Preamp output distorted = preamp failure. Connect MP3 player to "Power Amp In"...sound distorted = power amp failure. In your case the latter is the case as your "line out" is clean. Also test each speaker for clear sound as speaker cone damage from being overpowered is fairly common. At 300w. I'll assume the failure was not from cranking the volume to loud but a shorted speaker or speaker wiring could zap the power amp in an instant.

Subwoofer distortion with low volume

We need to know what the amp is and its model, what the speakers are, what the enclosure is.

Distorted sound on the CA-3550

It could be that, or it could be that you have the wrong audio settings. Such as the quality of playback being set too low or a sound setting which is not for music.

Sound not working right

Hello
Check the speaker first. If found OK, and you hear distorted sound, check the setting for sound, by its audio option menu.
If all are OK, and still the fault perists, the audio output section of your Tv should be troubleshooted.

Sound glitch when browsing web

That is a difficult problem to assess without knowing your setup. You could have an emi interference between a monitor and audio cable, a low memory situation where your system hesitates to use page filing(hard disk access as memory), or you may need an updated audio driver. Look at each of these issues and the latest Realtek ALC883 audio codec driver should be available at the Realtek website. http://www.realtek.com/

Have in built sound card in D845HV mother board. Experiencing heavy distortion as soon as the mic is connected. It was working well till last month.

Distorted or scratchy sound can be caused by several problems. Improving the sound can be as simple as rearranging your hardware components. The following suggestions may resolve the problem of scratchy sound:
  • Are there any other devices around the speakers or wires for the speakers? Electro-magnetic interference can cause poor audio. Try moving your speakers and wires around and away from other devices.
  • Have you recently added any new cards to your computer? Cards within the computer can also cause electro-magnetic interference. Try moving the card to another location within the computer, if possible.
  • Verify that you are not encountering a hardware issue with the speakers you have by trying another pair of computer speakers.
  • Poor audio quality or low volumes may occur if you are using passive (non-amplified) speakers.
  • Are your speakers too close to your monitor? The speakers can pick up electrical noise from your monitor so move them farther away. Subwoofers should never be placed near the monitor because their powerful magnets can interfere with the picture. They should be on the floor to maximize low-frequency transmission.
  • Are you experiencing sound problems only with particular games or programs? If you notice sound problems such as stuttering voices and static on some games or programs but not others, check with the software vendor for a software patch.

Also make sure to inspect your microphone, and the cord that connects it to your PC, for physical damage.

If you're still experiencing issues, you may need to replace the your microphone.

I hope this helps.
