Question about E-Machines T5082 PC Desktop
Fan runs rapidly and loudly. monitor says no signal then screen stays black after power on. tried unplugging cords and restarting but nothing. computer is going on 4 yrs old. should i trash it or are there any fixes?
Yea your processor has overheated. It can be replaced this is what you need https://www.upgradebay.com/c1_itemdetail.asp?rid=22&itemid=168714521 I would open up the bay door and take a look at the main fan that is attached to the motherboard. If you can get that off then you will be able to see the chip that you need to replace. Make sure to put on a bit of thermal grease before you put the fan back on your new CPU as this was the reason your old one crapped out. Good luck!
