Question about Televison & Video
All viewers with a Freeview digital TV or box (including homes with TopUp TV and BT Vision) will need to retune their equipment on or afterWednesday 30 September 2009, to continue receiving their availabledigital channels. Had same problem. Remedy is to put digibox back to factory reset. Dis-connect from mains. Keep pressing + button on front panel as you re-connect to mains. Red LED will be on, when orange LED blinks release + button. briefly press + button. You have solid red LED and blinking red LED. Enter code 9 9 0 0, by remote blinking LED will show green. Wait a few minutes and the instalation page will appear on screen. Go to update and start as you did before and C5 should be installed. Hope that helps.

SOURCE: Lost Channels retuning Sagem
The Sagem PVR 6280 is specifically listed as a model which will have problems with the retune.
See the address below for a chart of affected models, but the official advice is that you must contact Sagem directly on 0845 0900 316 for either an over the air update or an update DVD depending upon the manufacturer.
Sorry I can't provide you with a definite solution but I hope that I've at least reassured you that it's not something which you have or haven't done!

I'm having the same problem with my Sagem 6280, and having called the number kindly supplied above, a nice person a Sagem Tech Support taked me through it.
For note - the 'press 1' option doesn't seem to work on their phone system, so just wait for it to repeat 3 times and you get through :-)
The issue is (apparently) with the s/w version - I like many others am still on 4.5.
Sagem broadcast an OTA update at the begining of the year (again, apparently) to 4.7.
If you (or your son / daughter) hit 'no' then that's it - only 1 chance...
4.7 (apparently) does fix the issue, but as yet the tech team don't know if it's going to be re-broadcast or not.
I'm now on a call back list for if / when they find out...
I'd suggest you call them too and get yourself added - the more of us that do I guess means the more likely it might be to happen!
