Question about Innovage Mini Flip Phone 1510255
I bought a "digital photo album with keychain" and downloaded the software. I charged the keychain as it said, but now when I try to use the program to download pics, it won't open. It keeps saying plug in keychain using the provided usb cable and make sure the device is in "UPDATE" mode.
I was a little frustrated reading the above...being a PC user....
first, you must 'charge' the unit for 3 hours.
IT IS an easy fix...uninstall the Picture Viewer that you got from the Disc they gave...Throw it away. Go to www.mscustomercare.com at the top of the keychain section, it says "download".............. THIS version works.

I was given one of these for a birthday gift. Piece of junk!!! My solution for this problem: throw the darn thing away and buy ANOTHER brand. I bought a different brand for my daughter. She's not even computer literate and she had NO PROBLEMS what so ever with hers!

I had the same problem and I called the tech number 1-800-391-2970 and found out the driver file was missing from my software cd so, I went to their public website www.twcustomersupport.com and scrolled to the bottom to find the downloads. I first had to uninstall my software and then install the download. Then I put my keychain in update mode which some units have a charge mode and a update mode. Once plugged in and the screen said updating I opened up the program and everything worked. I also entered the site and found a ton of FAQs. You only need to enter a logon and password if you want to register to their ebox which lets you view your support requests and submit new requests by email. I found it very helpful.

I purchased the Digital Photo Keychain at Walgreens as a stocking stuffer. Had the same problem tyring to use it with my Mac. No response after plugging it into the computer using the USB cable. The system profiler did not recognize it as a USB device. After reading a few of the posts on this site, I used the following routine, and it seems to be working fine.
1. Install the Photo Viewer software using the CD that came with the keychain.
2. Use a paperclip to reset the device. Push the paperclip way in.
3. Plug the keychain into the computer using the USB cable.
4. "Updating" should appear on the keychain screen.
5. Launch the Photo Viewer. You should now be able to load photos.
6. Leave the Keychain plugged into the computer until the light turns green.
7. Unplug the keychain. Nothing except "Updating" will show on the screen until you unplug the keychain. The buttons do nothing until it is unplugged. After unplugging it, the buttons do what they are supposed to do.
This worked for me. Good luck!

I too ran into the same problems in trying to install the sofeware...Microsoft would not read the program, but I just kept hitting continue over and over...until it gave up, I think.
I follwed the insturctions in hooking up the device to the computer and double clicked the incon, but nothing happened. I kept trying to make it work, but no-go, so I said what the heck and did uninstall.
The second install when very well with no problems, so I hooked up the keychain and the display opened up, so now what. I could not find file manager or make the browser work...stumped again.
I kept looking at page 6 and at my screen and they didn't look the same. The printing is rather small, so I took a megnifying glass to get a close-up view and that's when I noticed that on page 6, in the upper left hand corner, there is a icon of a hard drive with a letter d (for d drive).
On my screen I had the same icon but with the letter c (Local Disk C:\) and that's when it came too me...when I did the second install, it asked which drive did I want for the driver to be install and I selected C:\ and then it asked which folder I want to use and I said Program files...this may seem a little off track but it has a reason.
The screen on the left side now showed a Yellow folder labed c;\, the next one down, same Yellow folder labeledd Program Files and the last Yellow folder labeled Photo Viewer. I double clicked the Photo Viewer and nothing happened, I then double clicked the Progam file and it open and listed all the folder that are in there. I scrolled down but couldn't find File Manager, but I did find the Photo View folder, so I wrote it down.
So, I then double cliked the c: I didn't find anything of Photo Viewer, but while scrolling down, I noticed a Kodak icon and I took a chance and double clicked it and a title showed up in the file manager, so I clicked post it and it open a picture in the collection panel, which turned out to be wallpaper, I use both Kodak Easeshare and Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0, so I said, what if I crate a folder in c:\ and just labeled it Keychain Photos. In order to do this, I had to remove the device and on my computer I have go to the bottom tool bar and select the icon to safely remove the hardware.
Now that I remvoed the hardware, I opened my C drive and just selected any folder and opened it so that I could open file and select new folder and then clicked the field in the folder and did a paste form edit and then renamed the new folder Keychain Photos. I grabbed and dragged it onto my desktop.
With the folder on my desktop, I opened my photo collection and grabbed a picture that I had planned on removing and dragged it to the Key chain folder...when I did that I noticed that in taking it to the folder, the picture was complete removed from the folder. I thought, that's not good, so I selected another picture, but this time I made a copy in the same folder. Now I took the copy after having renamed it to the keychain folder. I reopned the C: drive and dragged and dropped the Keychain folder in it.
After closing all open windows, I hooded up the device and double clicked the icon and the window opened...I double clicked the C: drive and scolled down to find the Keychain folder...I opened the folder and it listed the photos in file manager. I did the post and synhronization and everything worked fine...I removed the device to make sure the Keychain had the photos...it did.
Again I will say, this may not be the correct way to load your photos, but it worked for me.
I thought to myself, the unit can hold from 01 to 60 photos, that's nice, but in order to view them, you have to scoll down through all of them and many of them could be out of order, so wouldn it have been nice if device had folders in the file manager where you could place the pictures in the way you would like to show them but it doesn't but I said WHY NOT! So I went back to the Keychain folder in C drive and under file, I opened a new folder and labled it Begales 01-03 (for my three little ones) and I make another folder and called it My Holiday 04-10...in other words, you'll know were the pictures are and you know how many pictures are in the device.
The important thing that you must do is MAKE COPIES YOUR PICTURES.
I hope that this imformation is helpful in getting your photos into Keychain!!
One last note, if your computer drive does not have the base plate that can hold the smaller disk...ask a friend who does have and have them install it on their hard drive and then have them burn you a copy on a disk that fits your computer...BEWARE! that the software may not allow copies to be made...then the only thing left is to dowload it from the net.
PS: I am using Windows XP
Bye for now Snoopy101

I tried the software above, and it gives me an error message upon unzipping...
I am on a MAC, is this XP software?
This Innovage needs a support site with MAC drivers too...

I had same problem with the two I was given for Christmas. The following worked for me: Let the keychain charge (light turns green after SEVERAL hours). Then, using a paperclip, insert into the "reset" hole in the back. Then connect to USB cable, hit down arrow to select "update", hit on/menu button (little screen says "update"), double click on PhotoViewer software on screen. This worked for both keychains.

I tried using the link above - www.mscustomercare.com - but I get "error on page" and still can't download this crappy software.

I was reading y'alls posts hacked off as much as you all were and I somehow got mine to work. I pressed the power button for THREE seconds to turn the thing on (for those who may not get theres to turn on) I made the same mistake. Then I just sat there and waited. I heard some noise from my computer that made me think the thing was downloading something so I clicked on the Photoviewer and praise the Lord it worked. I suggest just trying to plug the ting in to the computer and turning it on and off a couple of times. I really hopes this helps.

All you have to do is after you down load the software just plug the usb cord in to the computer and on the key chain it will say usb charge or usb update go to the update. I had the same problem that worked for me. Enjoy
