Will not start or make any type noise or try to turn over at all

What it sounds like is a lose connection or bad ground cable. Check both battery cable leads red or positive to the starter. If you have a meter or test light check voltage at the starter. The check black or ground cable from Battery to point of ground. If rust or poor connection clean cables. Not knowing make model year. Look once you have all connections clean for a main fuse. This could be spade or glass type. What your describing is lack of charging of batter [lose of power slowly] and not able to start bad connection.

HP DESK TOP 840C PRINTER CONNECTION

Hello,

They do make adater cables for such problems. Here is just one such example: Parallel to USB Cable

Make sure you get the correct 25 pin cable. They have this type also:

Parallel to USB Cable 2

You can search the web for more companies. Google parallel to usb printer cable.

After saying all that and checking your printer info, I see that the 840c has both a parallel and a USB cable port. See page 21 of the manual: HP 840c Manual

If you go that route, you will need a standard USB cable. The shorter the better, but no longer than a 6' cable. Make sure you follow the iinstallation instructions for the USB setup in the manual.

Thanks for using Fixya.

How do I download Pictures to MP3?

Hi,

A generic procedure is :-

  1. Turn on your computer. Plug the USB cable that came with your MP3 player into an open USB port on your computer.
  2. Step 2 Turn off your MP3 player and plug the other end of the USB cable into the USB port located on top of the player. Turn on the player.
  3. Step 3 On your computer, right-click the pictures you want and select "Copy" from the menu that appears.
  4. Step 4 Double-click the "My Computer" icon on your computer. Double-click "MP3 player " or ' MP3 Device" in the "My Computer" window.
  5. Step 5 Open the "Pictures" folder. Right-click and select "Paste" from the menu that appears.
  6. Step 6 Let the files copy. Click the "Safely Remove Device" icon located on the left side of the Start toolbar at the bottom of your screen.
  7. Step 7 Click "Safely Remove USB Storage Device." Wait for a message to appear that says it is safe to remove the device, and then unplug the USB cable from your computer and your MP3 player.
Hope i helped you.

Thanks.

1.It could be the USB cable. Try a new cable.
2. Could be USB port, use another if available
3. You should be able to install the software without the printer connected.
4. Uninstall all hp printer software, and restart computer.
5. Delete any instances of the printer from the printer/fax located in control panel
