Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My Kodak DX3900 also has the same problem - no power

The small coin battery is for keeping date and time settings while the camera is turned off and that half-AA-length battery is actually a large capacitor for the flash. Be careful, you can get an electrical shock (~250-300V).

If your camera stays on only for a few seconds, it should be either a battery or lens fault.

Camera will not come on. Battery pack will not

Some docking stations will only charge KODAK batt.
Might sound silly, but Are you sure the Lithium batt are rechargeble?

Kodak DX3900 camera can't get power from battery

Remove the batteries and clean the battery contacts inside the camera with a soft cloth (a heavy buildup on the contacts may require cleaning with a fine wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that the cleaning leaves in the camera, and then reinstall the batteries. This clears most power-on problems, but if yours persists, check the Kodak troubleshooting guide at:

Battery chargers-can I use it for all my batteries

I would say not.
I have a charger that can do Nmhi and Alkaline but you need to throw a switch. You can't put NiCad in it at all. I know the voltage in the NiCads is lower and the other chargers will cause them to leak or even explode.
