You should remove your hard drive, which you can use in another pc if you like. There is not much else that you should remove, unless you want an additonal cd or dvd rom drive. other than that, everything else you need will come with your new pc.

Your local city operations dept, or garbage department will have information on how to properly dispose of your pc, there may be a small recycling fee with this though.

How do I dispose of Carbon Monoxide Alarm & Fire Alarms?

If it's no longer working, just discard in trash. It doesn't contain any hazardous materials. If it's still working, then donate it.

drain coolant into a drain pan. discard at a disposal point (usually local auto parts store). remove top and bottom radiator hoses. If you have a transmission cooler remove bolts mounting it to the radiator. you will also probably have an electric fan shroud that will need removed. if removing an electric fan shroud be sure to remember this fan can start at any time and it is bests to have battery terminals disconnected. the rest is simply a matter of unbolting accessories and other obstructions the remove radiator. once you reverse the remove process and have every thing re connected be sure to bleed the cooling system very well air bubbles will cause overheating issues.

I think I ground up a plastic bag in disposal....I have cleared out as best I can, turned the blades with a wrench, re set the button, but it won't move, just humming....does the unit need to be...

Don't keep running the disposal when it is humming or motor will burn up.
You might need a plumber, and/or might need to replace disposal.

1) If the disposal cutter disc turns freely, and motor will not start then disposal has gone bad.

2) If disposal cutter disc is still stuck, then you might be able to salvage by removing two nuts on p-trap below sink.
P-trap drops free.
Remove 2 bolts holding tailpiece to side of disposal so you have access to plastic bag from below the cutter disc.
Keep removing plastic bag and keep working the wrench from below. It should eventually give way.
Put wood broomstick down sink opening and wedge broomstick against sink opening to get cutter disc to rotate.
Spray WD40 into opening to help lubricate the struck parts.

3) I wrote ez disposal replacement steps that also cover tips for reassembling p-trap.

Where do dispose of full toner waste bags?

It depends on where you live.
Do a Google search for " what's the best way to dispose of full toner waste bags?" And add your city,or state on the same line. It will return a list of places to recycle the toner.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Sometimes this problem happens when your CMOS battery already dead. Replace the CMOS battery and run F4 to setup the date and time. Save it and you back to business.
