The fuel pump is controlled by several things. A flow switch, a thermostat, a pressure switch. All must be working for the heater to work. Also you said inject oil. I hope you mean diesel fuel or kerosene. It won't burn oil.

I have a old snowblower flue tank that has alot of gunk in it. What is the best way to clean it. I need a super duty solution the gunk is bad! Thanks

Depends what the gunk is. Blasting it out with a pressure washer would be a good start or even better a high pressure steam cleaner.

Remove residue with either an acid or alkaline cleaner. A caustic soda solution works well, better if it is hot and even better boiled.

The interior of the tank can be further cleaned with a handful of sharp gravel chippings and paraffin shaken vigorously as an alternative to a proprietary rust remover and cleaner.

The car and motorcycle restoration guys would then use various chemicals or coatings to inhibit future interior rusting but these are optional...

My karcher isn't giving me hot water why? It's a hds 601c

Morning Chris Taylor,

You have an igniter/burner coil inside your system that has to be
functioning properly to have good combustion going inside the coils of your heater unit (very bottom).

I tried to pull the documents to see if yours was kerosene powered (like mine: not a Karcher)... but could NOT pull your HDS 601C up on the company site (Karcher.com, sorry... It's me & my new PC).

Poor water = de-lime water coil procedure

Cool water = No combustion, check kerosene, oil (burner fuel)... filter... (etc.) and check your spark!

If your air supply is insufficient to support great combustion your ignitor & fuel nozzles can get heavily built up in soot. My manual says to clean it with detergent & water... I have only ever used Berryman choke & throttle body cleaner.

All the precautions... don't hurt yourself!!

Hope this helps...

What should the persure be for a hds 750 karcher

These units are variable, while the pump has a operating pressure of 1450 psi (100Bar) they can be taken down to 290 psi (20Bar) for steam cleaning.

Hope this helps:)

I would like a karcher instruction manual for a HDS650 pressure washer

I believe the HDS sends spark to the ignitor any time the machine is on ( hot or cold) You should hear the crackle of the ignitor in the burner area. Perhaps the ignitor rods are not properly aligned. Perhaps your ignitor coil is bad. There are several safety switches and the thermostat that would keep the burner from firing if they are bad. There is a pressure switch that turns on and off the motor for hot or cold operation. That is apparently working. I think there is a flow switch that turns off the burner. The thermostat might not be opening and closing contacts and that will keep the burner from working. I believe there is a high temperature safety switch as well.

Karcher professional hds 655 steam cleaner not much water pressure

If there is nothing wrong with the machine but you have lost power over the years you have been working it. It could be that the machine needs a new pump kit or/and change the pressure nozzle.
smaller issues could be that the pump isnt turned to high pressure or if you have an servo control on the gun that it is turned to low pressure instead of high pressure.
