Stats ignights and goes out

Other similar questions on this site state that this is a problem with the water flow sensor. Although if that is the problem the flame would likely light for only about one second before going out. The water flow sensor fix discussed does not require any new parts. This YouTube video will talk you though it. Good luck.

My Behringer PMX (or PMH?) 3000 powered mixer won't power on

Hi Robert,
The problem with ceramic fuses is that you can't tell if it's blown unless you put a meter on both ends to check for continuity. You probably have a friend that has a multi-meter sitting in a drawer somewhere, or a trip to the local Radio Shack will tell you right away - as well as likely finding the correct value fuse. Replacing it with a ceramic is not as critical as matching the AMPERAGE of the fuse (the Behringer site might be helpful:
And no, the fuse didn't die on it's own, but are most prone to failure at turn on - so this time when you plugged it in after 3 years - it was time to go.

We have a briggs and stratton mower that has been in storage for 5 years with very few hours on it, it will start but dies shortly after.

needs to have carb cleaned out. most likely the main jet in the carb is plugged. symptoms include only running on choke and dies when choke is turned to run. or if you only have a primer bulb, it will only run for only a few seconds every time it is primed. if you are qualified to work on the carb, dont forget to start with fresh gas and possibly new fuel line and filter. I have a jl 500/1 . The distribution block is lit showing 12v plus. no green power light on the amp? I disconnected pwr and ground and reconnected. the green light came on for 10 seconds and shut off. all...

The amplifier will not power on unless/until it recieves the turn-on signal from the head unit.

It seems the issue is with the head unit in this case.

Check the fuses and verify constant and switched power with a multimeter.

Once the Head unit powers on - the amplifier should also.

No Power From My Reciever

Mook_trakzz, your device is most likely roasted and ready or scrap. Sorry.

Guest, check if the cables are connected properly, specially the cable between the device and the sub is quite easily shifted thus losing your sound.

timtlc, seems you have had some powerfailure during that night, you can try to remove the powercable for at least 15 seconds, that should reset the device.

to all, information from Philips on this device:
  • Press the STANDBY ON button on the front of the DVD system to turn on the power.
If the device powers on at the unit and not the remote, the unit may have been turned off with TV selected as the source on the remote. The standby button on the remote will operate most Philips TV’s when TV is selected as the source. Change the source to disc or any other source than TV on the remote.
  • To completely reset the player, unplug the AC cord from the AC outlet for 15 seconds.

Terrible sound

Maybe your tape monitor button is pushed or something along that line of thought. Check all your switches and buttons in front and back of the unit for proper position.
