Question about Storkcraft Baby Cynthia 04550 Crib
I just bought a second hand storkcraft, and the clip that pushes in to release the rails on either side to lower or bring up the rail is broken. I emailed storkcraft and it is no longer avail. I think I will fix the rail on the one side with a screw so that it will no longer be moveable, and then just use the other side to go up and down.
I don't know which model of crib it is, since it came second hand, but its glossy white wood, kinda sculpted headboard/footboard. romantic looking.
Be careful with used cribs as they can be quite dangerous.
I'm not sure if your idea will work,as both sides of the rail need to be raised up and down. Or do you mean that both sides of the crib go up and down?
If I had a picture it would help.lol
Make sure that if you can't fix the sliding rail that you leave it at the highest position so that baby can't pull itself up when he/she gets to that stage.
You could try finding another one(for parts) at a second-hand store, yardsale, etc.
