Question about Honeywell (F50F1073) Air Purifier
The air cleaner was previously installed in the house when we moved in. The cells appear clean, the indicator light is on, the test button produces a sparking noise and I've ohmed out the cells, no shorts present. But after months of use minimal dust seems to be picked up by the collector plates. Any input?
I don't have a high voltage meter to measure the power supply output but if the test button produces a zap does that indicate the voltage is high enough
Sounds like it is working. You could replace the cells and prefilters with a disposable box filter that fits.
