Hi budy check to see if you have too much oil in there if oil is at the right capacity the piston rings have gone causing crank case pressure and forcing oil out the hole get back to me

How can I stop oil from coming from my dipstick?


Depends on the cause.
Blow-by is when oil blows by the rings in the cylinders into the combustion chambers or compression blows by the rings into the crankcase. It can also be caused when too much pressure builds up in the crankcase because of a venting problem.
So blow-by can cause smoke out the tailpipe from oil burning with gasoline, or oil collecting in the air cleaner, or blowing out a seal or other place like your dipstick tube.
If it is caused by worn piston rings, the rings have to be replaced.
If it is a venting problem, you need to open up the vent, like the PCV valve or the air intake port.
If you remove the cap where you add oil and there is a vacuum when the engine is running, the venting system is working. If oil blows out the hole, there is too much pressure in the crankcase.

Oil level ok but blowing oil out vent when trigger is released , pressure is good and vent is working , the pump oil has not been changed in a long time though,


You don't give any clue as to make, model etc so I'm going to guess that there is some wear in the pump which is slightly pressuring the oil chamber when you let off the gun. It doesn't do it running because of the release of pressure to the gun. Yes, change the oil for the correct grade.

Why is it blowing off oil cap


Too much crankcase pressure for some reason? I've seen a melted piston cause so much crankcase pressure, it blew the pcv valve out of the valve cover and sprayed oil all over the engine compartment.

Is your oil cap threaded? If it is threaded, I don't think I've seen one of them blow off? Also, check crankcase ventilation system, pcv where applicable. Do you have a lot of blow-by from crankcase? I don't know your year--make--model or engine size?

Gmc savana 2002 has lot air front oil cap


the PCV valve may be fine but what about the hose . It cab ne blocked up . Is the PCV valve connected up right . It is a one way valve and opens under vacuum ( when the engine is overrunning the throttle ). The extra air from the filler cap is an indication of excessive blow by in the combustion chambers past faulty/ worn/ broken rings.

Oil in spark plug chamber wont start


Possibly caused by bad gaskets usually when the vehicle over-heat to the point where thermostat shuts the engine off. In that case head gasket can blow and cause oil leak to almost every chamber, also possible water in the oil.

Whaen car idles its fine but when driving it sputters an when it builds boost it blows the intake pipe off the throttle body an oil comes out of the throttle body


in your car the air ventilation system is freeze up causing a build up of pressure which caused the oil to burst out. there is the mosture sludge build up under the oil fill cap . its advisable to clean everything up and then check out by starting the car. also spray crab cleaner in the throttle body and check out. as per me the problem is causing because of :-- I guess the breather vent tube was full of oil - frozen in there somehow. Must have to do with that sludge buildup on my oil fill cap. This is the one coming off the front on the left side of the oil filter. It goes down under the engine. This blockage caused a pressure buildup in the crankcase which caused oil to blow by the pistons and into the combustion chamber and out into the air intake hose and throttle body. get the spark plugs removed and cleaned up all the oil. The reason it sputter is because of all the oil in the combustion chamber. No air could get in. get the oil change and insulate the breather pipe in case of future freeze ups. This will help. All air compressor will build pressure in the oil reservoir. This is caused by blow-by past the piston rings. The reason all compressors have this is due to the relatively slow rpm that the compressor crank is turning. Unlike a car's engine that is turning so fast the compressed gas doesn't have time to leak by the rings.
To deal with this problem air compressors have a special oil fill cap that alows the pressurized air to be vented out of the oil reservoir chamber.

There are three reasons that you are having this problem. The first is you have a clocked oil cap vent. Second is you have the wrong type of oil cap.
The third is the bad one. If the problem is unrelated to the oil cap then it means there is more blow-by then the vent cap can handle. This would indicate that you have worn or broken rings and/or worn cylinder wall.

If your compressor is not old (low hours), then take a close look at the cap. If it has more then 2000 hours then you will most likely need to rebuild the compressor, depending on the make and model.

Oil in #2 spark plug chamber. How do I fix


This is not good. There are two ways to get oil in your cylinder..best case, valve guides..requiring a head job, worst case, blow by the piston, requiring an overhaul. Wish the news was better. Good Luck! I hope you find this very helpful!

Air compressor/ alot of air is coming out of the oil cap vent.


this could be blow back possibly bad piston rings you may need new rings oil chamber is usually at intake pressure unit may need rebuild
