I am having a Samsung Nexus SCHi515 with Verizon network( It has a sim slot) I have taken the phone to India. I thought it could be unlocked and used in some CDMA network( Reliance) here since one of my friend have unlocked LG droid 3,(non-sim model),verizon network. But I have heard from some people that phone with sim slot cannot be unlocked and only the non sim model can be unlocked and registered with the Reliance CDMA network in India. Is it not possible to unlock the model with sim slot? Kindly help me out.
i have htc droid eris verizon cdma usa handset , it doesnt have a sim slot in it, i would like to use it in india for reliance, network, is it possible to unlock and use it in india, it is having s.n number and meid 14 digit number
you can unlock your phone and use it to another network ,but you want cdma services available in specified model , you can use it for gsm after unlocking , if you want to unlock ,you can try codes here http://www.onlinegsmunlock.com/htc-smart/rs7wp9/
Reliance mobile offers CDMA phones therefore your palm pre should fully work (internet and telephony) after configuration from Reliance. However for further inquiries and packages I advise you to contact Reliance.
