Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
Once the screen has cracked, there isn't anything you can do for it short of replacing it.
Eventually the pocket will get larger and in time obscure a large portion of the screen.
This pocket will only move as the lamination separates, so any chance of moving it yourself is slim, and will increase the likelihood of further damage via applying pressure.
The good news is there are many third party screen suppliers that make affordable quality replacement screens, often for under $100. Ebay.com is a plentiful source of these screens.
Most laptops the screen can be replaced by an average home user with light to moderate technical experience and a set of precision screwdrivers..
