- I went to Lowes and bought a core puller for $15.00 dollars. problem solved.

I'm not sure what you mean. The entire valve or just the cartrige?

Gain access to wall where valve is located and with a copper cutter if copper pipe or pipe wrenckes if galvinized, and remove.
