Question about Western Digital MY BOOK HOME 1TB EXT HD-USB2/FW/E-SATA 3.5IN 1YR FireWire 400 Hard Drive
It depends - there are a couple of options. Some models have some hidden screws and some just have a clipped on case. Force a fingernail between the cover and the pages (as it were) if you an get your fingernail all the way around the cover then it is probabky a clip on - you just have to locate the clips and spring them - a stripping knife is a good tool to use. If you get to a point where your fingernail will not pass, then you probably have a screwed case and the screw is very close to where your fingernail is - (near the bottom back corner I think) - even so I think there is still a clip or two that has to be sprung.
