I need to replace the front panel on my Whirlpool Quiet Partner III. How do I get the old panel off? I was given a blow up diagram of the unit (which I could have gotten myself) I need step by step instructions on how to get the old front panel off.

What a rip-off!!! I was provided a blow up from a manual that I already viewed myself on line for FREE. I asked for step by step instructions for my project and was refused. After figuring out the solution myself, I could easily write out step by step instructions for someone else that would greatly simplify the removal and installation of the front panel, a request that could not be answered by your so called experts.

hope this helps.

Surely the blow up diagram is easier to follow than a heap of written text.

usually these diagrams start from the insideand work towards the outside, showing the screws to remove to get to where you need to go.

You may well have been able to get it yourself, But you didn't! and someone tried to make it easier for you to follow than a page and a half of text telling you how and what screws to remove.

It is easy to miss a step this way when giving "step by step" instructions and also to assume the reader know what the writer is trying to convey. They probably spent sme time in researching the correct manual and ensuring you received it.

Thanks for using FIXYA

This is a bad wash pump. Looking at about $175 for just the sump assembly. You could do it yourself, but unit would need to be uninstalled.
