Either the belt has come off, or broken, or the motor is not working.
You would need to remove the motor to check it properly.
Please tate my solution.
Thanks.

when we set our wdr 1040w off on a no.4 cycle it starts to fill the drum,it clicks to move forward within the cycle but nothing happens. The drum does not rotate either. It is probably about 5-6 years old and used nearly every day with a family of 2 adults & 2 children.
