F11 is a serial communication error. Information between the central control and the motor control cannot be sent correctly. C01 through C08 is just the test sequence: 01=fill by cold water, 02= dispensor motor, 03=fill by hot water, 04=drum rotates clockwise, 05=heater on, drum rotates, 06=drain pump actuated, 07= drum rotates counter clockwise, 08= high spin. You are recieving a fault before the test can complete.

Here is a posting of some one who had the same problem:

I have - since posting the original - tried to remove the serial cable connectors from both ends of the cableF 11 fault code - 2.gif and soldering the wire right to the PC boards. It seemed to help, but the F11 returned. I think the temporary help had to do with powering down and up. In fact, I found that if I powered down and let the machine "rest" I could get at least one load out before F11 came back.

I finally bit the bullet and bought a new MCU at around $200. I have a family of 6 and a malfunctioning washer just isn't an option. I replaced it in mid January and haven't had the dreaded F11 since.

I did notice that on the MCU (that I removed) there is a small transformer that must be for the DC power supply to the board. I bet this powers the low voltage inputs/outputs as well as the processor (via some additional regulation). This transformer looked like it has been getting hot. The iron laminations and dielectric of the windings was irregularly blackened in places.

I further speculate that as the transformer gets hot, it starts to sag the DC Voltage of the MCU. The lower DC voltage could cause faults in the processor1.gif, faults in the serial comms, any number od problems.

Unfortunately, I feel the ultimate resolution to the problem is to replace the MCU. I do believe that the anti-vibration techniques listed in this thread would be good preventive measures. Vibration is no friend to electronic4.gif components hanging on by solder - especially relatively heavy objects like transformers and bigger capacitors.

All wash cycles keep prematurely stopping. I am not getting any error codes.

The programmer itself might be at fault
No cycles complete .... but does the machine stop at the same part of each cycle, i.e. the rinse or the spin. If it does you can
ascribe the fault to a particular component.
If it is stopping at different points it would probably be the programmer.
A technician should be able to definitively diagnose the fault

BAD CONTROL BOARD TO TEST TO SEE IF THIS IS THE ISSUE RUN TEST PROGRAM
To start test program, press and hold both SCRUB WASH and DELICATE/ECONO program buttons, then turn unit on by
pressing ON/OFF button. Initially, control module version # will be displayed (e.g./ “20” = version 0 without jumper). When
wash program buttons are released, lights above them will flash. To end test program, press ON/OFF button.
To check each program indicator light, press its button. To check Cycle Countdown display, Refill Rinse Agent light and
REGULAR WASH light, press REGULAR WASH button (press Delay Start button to test Cycle Countdown display
alone). Cycle Countdown display will show "88" when REGULAR WASH button is pressed and "8h" when Delay Start
button is pressed.
To start testing, press both SCRUB WASH and DELICATE/ECONO buttons a second time. When testing has ended,
Cycle Countdown display will show a fault using codes below. If more than one fault occurs, code numbers will be added
together, (e.g./ “6” = faults 2 + 4).
0 = No faults detected 2 = Heating fault 8 = NTC (temperature sensor) fault
1 = Aqua Sensor ("Sensotronic") fault 4 = Filling fault F = Filling fault (display occurs during wash, not test)
To check for heater, high limit or flow switch problems, start testing until heating starts. Using a meter with a current coil,
measure current going into dishwasher. If current is ~ 11 A, then heater, high limit and flow switch are OK. If current stays
at ~ 1.5-2 A, then heater, high limit or flow switch are faulty.
If water level switch (f1) has failed (opened), display will show fault code "4" and unit will continually fill and drain where
testing won't be completed. If flow switch (e5) has failed (opened), display will show "0", water won't heat (to 150ºF) and
water won’t stop circulating. If NTC probe (f2/f4) has failed (opened), display will show fault code "8" immediately and
testing will end shortly after water has started circulating

F/06 ---- ERROR IS FOR ----------- Drive Motor Tachometer ErrorThe control is unable to properly detect motor speed and the machine will shut down. If a failure occurs during high-speed spin, the door will be unlocked after 3 minutes.----------
AND TO SOLVE THIS ---------Check wire harness connections between the Drive Motor/Tachometer and the Motor Control Unit (MCU), and between the MCU and the Central Control Unit (CCU) --
Check the Drive Motor
Check the MCU
Check the Wire Harness

FAULT CODE F11

F-11 like a Kenmore means communication error between the motor control and the main control. Check connections, unplug and replug computer connections and see if problem persists. I've seen cases where either board or even both can be bad.

Shutting down on rinse cycle

Hi this could means that you may need to replace the washing machine bearings. Once the bearings are bad, the motor overheats and it will automatically shut down after the first rinse.

Fault code 01

this is actually a fault code error code 1 not one minute check your manual as codes different on some machines from memory i think 1 is a filling fault this machine uses fuzzy logic if water fill takes longer than 4 mins (low pressure) machine stops can be restarted by pressing start button.
see if machine will complete just a rinse cycle.

good luck

it looks as if your having a communication problem between your central control unit and your motor control unit.check wiring connection between these two components.if wiring is ok then you will have determine which of these components is malfunctioning.you can also remove kick plate and remove service manual located on either side at bottom.this should give you some help.
