If you are referring to Google web search - first clear your browser cache then delete any other temporary files on your system. See if this resolves the issue.
If you are referring to the Google desktop search program this is a different issue. You should uninstall this program from the control panel and then reinstall it and see if the problem resolves.
Be sure to run a virus scan on your computer and ensure there is no malware anywhere on your system that may be causing the issue.
