Usb dongle is not working

Step 1:
A Bluetooth dongle is an external Bluetooth device used to enable your PC's Bluetooth connection. Many Bluetooth dongles come without installation disks since the software is pre-programmed into the actual USB stick. These Bluetooth dongles are very useful on netbooks that don't have Bluetooth connection, since netbooks have no CD-Rom drives. Turn on your PC. Insert the USB Bluetooth dongle into the USB port on your desktop tower, or the USB ports located on the perimeter of your laptop. Wait for the program to auto run. Once you connect your dongle, the driver program should launch. Follow the onscreen prompts to install the dongle. A dialogue box should open that says "Installing Drivers" from the taskbar. Allow the driver to install completely before closing the box. Unplug the dongle and restart your PC. Once the PC has been switched on, insert the dongle. Double-click "My Bluetooth Places." This is the Bluetooth icon located in your taskbar, and it should launch the "Initial Bluetooth Configuration Wizard." Click "Next" on the first screen. Next, type in the name of your computer and select your computer type from the drop-down menu, then click "Next." Click "Skip" on the onscreen prompts, then finish. Pairing the Devices Turn on your external Bluetooth device. Double-click "My Bluetooth Places." Select "Find Bluetooth Devices." The name your Bluetooth device should display in the next window. Right click the icon for your Bluetooth device, and scroll down to "Pair Device." Enter the Bluetooth pin code for your external device in the "Bluetooth Pin Code Request" pop-up window. Then click "OK." The default pin code is normally "0000" or "12345." You can find your pin code in your user manual. If you are pairing a cell phone to your PC, you will have to enter the same pin code on your cell phone to establish the Bluetooth connection.

How do you solve a Bluetooth Dongle Problems?

<p>Bluetooth wireless technology allows many devices to connect wirelessly to computers, keyboards, mice, speakers and even other computers. Most desktop computers come with Bluetooth pre-installed adapters, allowing many to purchase and install an external Bluetooth dongle adapter. These dongles are usually connected to an available USB port and automatically installs without much fuss, but there is the possibility of going wrong, because usually when people and computers interact. Fortunately, hiccups are usually quite easy to solve. <br /> <p><br /> <p>1. Unplug the dongle on the computer using the "Wizard Safely Remove Hardware". Look for an icon in the Windows taskbar that looks like a USB connector with a green circle and check mark next to it. Wait a few minutes, and then reinsert it. This will cause the drivers are loaded on your computer and your problem. <br /> <p><br /> <p>2. Restart the computer; make sure the dongle is working properly. Some drivers need to restart your computer before working properly. <br /> <p><br /> <p>3. Download and install the latest drivers for your Bluetooth dongle. If you are unsure of where to get it, Windows can do it for you. Open "Control Panel" menu "Start," click "Hardware and Sound" and then "Device Manager". Expand the Bluetooth Radios section "from the list that appears, right click on the Bluetooth adapter, and select" Update Driver ". Select" Search automatically for updated driver software. Is BW 900 Sennheiser compatible with Windows 7?

according to Sennheiser, it depends on the compatibility of the usb device driver of your bluetooth adapter in Win7 (it is NOT a BW900 problem in their opinion)

as I understand it, you have therefore to by a new adapter and see whether it works with the BW900. Take the device AND your computer to the shop and have them install and pair

Can i hook my emerson bluetooth up to my computer

Yes, IF your computer has Bluetooth software and either a built-in Bluetooth radio or a USB Bluetooth dongle.

If you are running Microsoft Windows, then you have the Bluetooth Stack (software) and just need a radio and driver or a Microsoft USB dongle to activate the stack.

HK-760 Bluetooth dongle, pairs with my HP computer but after inserting the passkey, the computer starts searching for the peripheral device drivers without which a connection between my jabra VBT2050...

This device, according to the Jabra website, is intended only for phones, not PC's. The PC is searching for a driver in order to know how to communicate with the device. Since the VBT2050 does not have the necessary software contained within itself, the PC starts searching for device drivers. There are none that I could find on the Jabra website, so I don't think it is intended to be used with a PC.

How do I pair my Motorola H12 with my computer?

Has your computer already have bluetooth built in? If so, enable it. It should recognize your bluetooth earpiece. Otherwise, you might need a what is called a bluetooth dongle, which connects commonly via USB. It should cost around 20 dollars and come with the communication software included. Then just follow instructions. Hope it helps, good luck.

Normally you setup a passkey or use 0000 or 9999 as a passkey.

The question is, does that pop up when you try to connect a USB device? Do you get that when you try to install the dongle? (That shouldn't happen). If you are trying to connect a PDA or cell phone, you setup the passkey for the connecting device on the computer then type it in to the PDA or mobile phone. If you are trying to connect a bluetooth headset, then you use whatever code is from the manufactorer. Normally this is 0000 or 9999.

Hope this helps!
