Question about Kodak ESP 5 Printer
I replaced a new black ink catridge, the black is very light, can hardly read it
If your kodak printer esp 5xx is not printing black ink at all or faded do this..
Remove both black and colour cartridges (assuming they are new ones and don't need replacing)
At the back of the cartridge carrier there is a blue lever , lift it to release the carrier.
Using isopropyl alcohol and using some tissue clean the chip on the carrier, replace the carrier and cartridges ( reverse of removal )
Printer should then detect new printheads have been replaced and ask you to calibrate printer, problem should now be fixed.
