If this is the usual sort of halogen spotlight, it is usually supplied with a mains charger adaptor and a lead to charge it from the car cigar lighter socket.

Both those items are also commonly supplied with a range of car-related rechargeable items, torches, jumpstarters and so forth.
I have several such items and I find the 12 volt lead and mains charging adaptor completely interchangeable between all of them. Rechargeable halogen spotlights generally have a very disappointing battery life of around 20 minutes unless a very expensive professional model is bought.

If it is not a rechargeable type that must be permanently connected to the car cigar lighter, the power cord is usually permanently fixed to the lamp but if it isn't, the cable will need to be substantial enough to carry several amps - something similar to that of perhaps a large coolbox.

The Default Pin, and unlocking Iridium 9505A/9555

If you purchase an iridium 9505A, or 9555 satellite phone, and minutes, the very first thing that will come up on the screen when you turn on the phone is a command that requests you to enter in a Pin. The Default pin will always be 1111. if you enter in the wrong pin more than three times then you will lock the phone. If that happens. Call the company that you purchased the phone from and request the PUK1 for the sim card number that is in your phone. After they give you this number you will follow a series of commands. It will begin by pressing in **05* . For a complete list of what to do following this, call us regarding what satellite phone model you have, and we will send you the instructions, or one of our support team will walk you through the process. Battery dead 2003 S type. Cannot gain access to rear luggage compartment

plug a cheap jumper battery cable into the cigarette lighter. They are the kind that has a cigar lighter plug at each end. Or, hook a 9 volt battery to a cigar lighter plug. That should be enough to operate the trunk switch.

Cigar lighter in My 1996 toyota avalon cannot work well because my navigator cannot charge when pull inside the plug. my radio is ok and I check the fuse it is in good condition. So I think the problem...

there could be no screw, maybe clippers holds that. try pull the frame with hand to unclip, could be bad connection in back of cigar lighter or bad wiring

Garmin street pilot 330 charging problem

You need to check the fuse for both the car's cigar lighter AND the one in the GPS power plug (that goes into the cigar lighter outlet). Both must be good for the GPS to charge and power up.

I don't know if your friends cord worked in you car - or hers - so you're going to have to find out if it is the cord fuse or the car fuse. Since her cord worked on your GPS, start by using HER CORD connected to YOUR GPS in both cars. If it works in her car, but not in yours, check & replace your car's cigar lighter fuse. If or when it works in both cars, disconnect her cable and connect your cable to your GPS again. Connect into your cigar lighter. If it works, you're done. If it doesn't work, disassemble the plug at the end of the GPS cord (cigar lighter end) and check and replace the fuse if blown. You should be good to go at this point.

I have a Motorola 9505 Iridium sat phone with a faulty LCD Module (p/n7285893K01MBS)and am told it is no longer available. I was hoping someone may know where I can get one, or an old phone with a working...

I have found out from Iridium that there is a solution. You can use the LCD module for the 9505A but the repairer needs to load new firmware. If your repairer is a registered repairer with Iridium/Motorola they should be aware of what is required and have the equipment to do it (mine wasn't until I investigated). Cost should be in the area of A$350-A$400.
