The mouse

Hello there.

I recommend doing the following:

1) Shut down the computer (you can hold down the power button on the front of the computer base unit or laptop power button for a few seconds instead of using the mouse)
2) Unplug the mouse base station.
3) Plug the mouse base station in again
4) Turn on the computer and let it start up as normal.
5) Watch for any system messages appearing, like found new hardware.

These steps will verify that there is not a problem with the mouse's base station plugged into the computer. Another thing to check is if the mouse requires batteries, this is often overlooked.

If after doing this there is still no pointer registered, i would suggest trying the mouse in another computer, and if possible trying a different mouse on the same computer.

If the mouse works on another computer then it could be a software problem, which we can help you with.

If the mouse doesn't work on another computer, but a different mouse works fine on the same computer, then im afraid your mouse has to be replaced.

Please post back after trying the above steps and let us know. Telling us which mouse you have exactly will futher help.
Hope this helps.

Mouse cannot detect my computer

Do you mean your computer cannot detect your mouse?
have you checked if the mouse is inserted properly in the slot?
what are you using?a optical mouse or ps2 mouse?
if you are using a optical mouse, you will know if your mouse is working by
Plugging your mouse to your computer , if the mouse led turns on it means it is working.
if the LED light doesnt turn on it means your mouse is broken.
Hope i help, Please rate my solution.

Left button of vaio mouse does not work anymore. any idea how to fix it? thank you!

Try the mouse in a different computer.
If it works, it's the "settings" for the mouse in your copy of Windows that have changed, i.e., pushing the LEFT mouse button is *NOT* "associated" with any specific "action".

Or, shutdown your computer.
Disconnect the mouse from the computer.
Flip the mouse over.
Look for any screws holding the mouse together.
If you find some, undo the screws, and split the mouse apart.
Inspect the mechanism that "clicks" when you push the LEFT mouse-button.
Remove any dirt/dust.
Reassemble the mouse.
Reconnect it to your computer.
Try it.

If it still does not work, try the mouse in a different computer.
If it still does not work, responsibly recycle it, and buy a new mouse.

Pointer is stuck

Either the computer is not detecting the mouse (was it correctly plugged-in to the computer when you started the computer?) or the mouse's battery is dead, or something else inside the mouse is broken.

Try a different mouse.

Can't get it to work.

Installing the software properly, on any UPS with coordinated software,
will allow an automatic shutdown of windows in the event of a power
failure, which could save important files and disk corruption.

That is why complete connection of the correct cable is important.
In some cases, older UPS come with serial ports which may or may
not be found on some recent systems.

There is a fix for that, if that is the problem.

Not communicating...

It would help a lot if you had another Midi device to try. Then you could narrow down the problem.

Another thing to try is to download some simple piece of Midi software such as Bome's Mouse keyboard (free 30-day evaluation) and see if you can get that to work (using your mouse on the screen keyboard to trigger notes on your MIDI keyboard). You may get further clues by trying that.
