I have acquired a casio CE 3700 without a manual and need to change the company name that is printing on the receipts - please help

A very rare but great machine. You need to pull the stamp out from the back of the receipt side of the printer (there is a small black handle that you pull just under the paper entry). Then take the stamp to a stamp maker to get your name, tax number etc cut into a new stamp.
If anyone is looking for a Casio CE-3700 manual, there is a user and programming manual here: http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio_CE-3700_operators_and_programming_manual.html

Change pst&gst to hst

It depends which tax you need to change. The 3700 has three tax settings so I can show you how to follow the manual to do the settings. If you need a manual, there is one here with tax programming:
http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio_CE-3700_operators_and_programming_manual.html
Let me know when you have the manual and I'll point you to the correct pages and settings.

tina -

I found the service manual here:

ftp://ftp.totalpos.co.nz/Oldmanuals/Casio-CE3700.pdf

It is New Zealand, and the file is a little over 3 MB. If you have a problem, contact me and I can email it to you.

It has a section on programming the CE-3700.

How to program tax on a casio te 8700f register

Hi.
I have never heard of an 8700. I have info on the 8000 and 8500 so it may be similar to one of these. If it has never been programmed to use tax before, then I will need to know how your tax system operates. Do you use add-on, or add-in tax, how many rates? Are all PLUs taxed, or just some?
